Morrison completes and delivers Vertical Tower Storage frames to GE Renewable US to support U.S.’s Vineyard Wind 1 Project in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Scope of work included:
- Manufacturing, testing, certification and loadout/delivery of multiple Vertical Tower Storage frames designed to transport and store the HALIADE-X tower sections for Vineyard Wind 1.
- Morrison utilized a number of its facilities to meet project demands, including Morrison’s fabrication facility in Alvarado, Mexico.
The Vineyard Wind project is a milestone in renewable energy and is creating an entirely new era in how consumers get their power.
Morrison is proud to be a provider of these vertical tower stands for the first commercial-scale offshore wind farm in the US.
