Morrison’s Subsea Vision, a multi-purpose construction and dive support vessel, successfully completed a major Gulf of Mexico decommissioning campaign.
The platform removal campaign addressed various fields throughout the GOM. Morrison’s crews removed 8598 tons of steel and incurred zero mechanical downtime over the duration of the project.
The Subsea Vision is a 400’ x 100’ vessel, configured with a 300-ton and 60-ton crane and a 12-man saturation system, ideal for decommissioning and structure removal projects. With 6850 square feet of open deck space, the Subsea Vision was able to efficiently meet both the topside and diving needs of the campaign, including facility prep, make safe, load lightening, and structure removals.
