Removal of 22 Conductors Across 4 Offshore Structures

Ship Shoal Field

Morrison successfully executed the  removal of 22 conductors while simultaneously performing safe out on four offshore structures.  This delivered a highly efficient and cost-effective solution for the client.

Operating in 100 feet of water, the project was executed using Morrison’s multi-purpose construction vessel, the Subsea Vision. Often referred to as a “Swiss Army knife” for its versatility, the vessel supported surface diving operations for the cutting and removal of risers, as well as topside crews performing make-safe operations and hydrocarbon cleaning.

Level II surveys and site clearance were completed as part of the comprehensive scope. What set this project apart was Morrison’s ability to manage all four structures simultaneously, deploying multiple supervisors and a skilled crew of over 80 personnel. This strategic coordination enabled expedited execution and significantly reduced overall project costs for the client.
