Morrison Announces Sale of Deepwater Riser Services

Morrison Energy Group has completed the divestiture of  Deepwater Riser Services, LLC to, HMH Holdings Inc., effective September 21, 2026. As part of the transaction, DRS’s assets, operations, facilities, contracts, and employees have transitioned to HMH.

This move reflects Morrison’s continued focus on our core businesses and long-term growth priorities. We’re confident HMH, a leading name in riser services, is the right home for DRS, offering the scale, resources, and opportunities to help the business and its people continue to thrive.

Over the past 15 years, DRS grew from a response to a market opportunity into a respected provider of deepwater riser inspection, recertification, refurbishment, and storage services. That success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire DRS team, and we’re grateful for everything they’ve contributed to Morrison over the years.
