Happy Father’s Day 2022
The celebration of Father’s Day reminds us about the importance of fatherhood. We often forget the sacrifices and contributions of our fathers and male figures have made in our lives. Father’s Day gives us the opportunity to show and express our love, adoration and gratitude for these special people. Although, we can’t highlight all the amazing fathers, we know a lot of awesome dads who work hard every day to provide for their families back home. The work that they do makes a difference in the lives of many families at Morrison. So, this Father’s Day, show these deserving men what special place they have in your life and what influence they have on you.
Shawn Miller, Barge Superintendent
I’m a proud father of five amazing children. One of which recently started working with me at Morrison. I started working for Morrison right out of high school and have been a dedicated employee for 16 years. My son and I are looking forward to working together and I’m honored to mentor him along the way. He can finally experience my home from home and hopefully develop a strong work ethic.
As a family, we enjoy simple things like family dinners and games together. We also like to travel to different places and experience new things.
Nick Cotter, Onshore Superintendent
My wife, Debra, and I are blessed with seven beautiful children and one expected to arrive in August. We always dreamed of a big family and to actually be able to call myself a father to eight children is a blessing I could have never imagined. As a family, we enjoy being outdoors and taking short trips. We usually like to take the kids to the park, lakes, and to Gatlinburg. Life can for sure get a little crazy sometimes but we are loving every minute of it.
My wife is the foundation of our family. She takes care of everyone while I’m away from home working weeks at a time and I’m beyond grateful for everything she does for us.
We wish these two wonderful fathers – and all our many awesome Morrison fathers – a very special and happy Father’s Day!
