Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) Services

Whether utilizing company-owned resources or by teaming with strategic partners, Morrison is well-positioned to deliver EPC projects globally.  Morrison is in the final stages of delivering the Iguana Field Development Project for DeNovo Energy.  The Iguana Project is an engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contract for a development located in the Gulf of Paria offshore Trinidad.  This EPCIC project provides the infrastructure to deliver 90 mscf of natural gas via a 28 mile 14” diameter pipeline from an offshore greenfield location at Block 1A to an onshore methanol plant in Port Lisas, Trinidad. Morrison sourced foreign and domestic engineering and procured equipment and line pipe worldwide.  TOFCO, Morrison’s Trinidad JV Company, assisted with building and installing the unmanned and remotely operated platform facility to bring the product onshore.

Fabrication, Onshore and Offshore Services

Morrison has a wide range of expertise in handling complex topside and subsea fabrication projects.  The Morrison Fabrication division provides specialized service applications in a variety of alloys commonly used for subsea hardware, onshore and offshore facilities, marine civil structures, and offshore wind structures for greenfield or brownfield developments.

From maintenance and facility optimization to installations, Morrison’s Offshore Services provides personalized planning to ensure safety and quality execution delivering on time and on budget and forging client confidence.

Subsea, Pipeline and Diving Services

Morrison performs installations, removals and inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) for subsea tiebacks and subsea transmission networks.  The company utilizes owned and chartered vessels to perform subsea construction and when required provides surface diving, mixed gas diving, saturation diving, and ROV services.  Greenfield pipeline installations, repair and maintenance are performed in shallow water with company equipment and deep water tie back utilizing frame agreement with joint partners and other industry equipment.

Subsea Products & Services

Morrison’s Deepwater Riser division services the full life cycle of drilling and production risers. The company is a one stop shop for clients requiring fabrication, inspection, transportation, maintenance, repair and storage services for risers and related equipment.  Morrison also provides original equipment manufacturers (OEM) recertification services for subsea production hardware.

Morrison can also fabricate production tie-back components, such as PLETS, PLEMS, manifolds and jumpers, in line with OEM quality and specifications.

Mexico & Caribbean Facilities

Morrison has been active and operational in Mexico and Trinidad for over 15 years with strategically located ports and fabrication facilities providing logistical services along with fabrication and offshore services to many of the leading oil and gas companies around the world.   With capabilities to support facilities and pipeline work, the company currently operates out of Alvarado, Veracruz, Tampico, and Cuidad del Carmen, Mexico as well as La Brea, Point Lisas, and Port of Spain, Trinidad.  Chet Morrison Contractors, S. de R.L. de C.V., has recently been awarded the offshore supply base logistics contract for the first multi-national oil company drilling in the Perdido deepwater basin off the coast of Mexico.
